Abila of the Decapolis is a project dedicated to documenting and showcasing the history, progress, and significance of the Abila archeological excavation. The project emphasizes the history of the site as well as the process of archeology as it occurs on the ground.

Abila of the Decapolis aspires to break away from the traditional documentary format by allowing audiences behind the curtain on the process of archeology by emphasizing methodological strategies, obstacles, and techniques

During this project we worked with the Jordanian government, the Jordanian Department of Antiquities, and the archaeological staff from John Brown University to gain access into the inner workings of Jordanian archaeology.
